Rebecca Harris-Lee, violin

Rebecca Harris-Lee began her musical studies in Cleveland, Ohio with Linda Cerone. She received her undergraduate degree at the Oberlin Conservatory with Stephen Clapp, and then returned to Cleveland, where she played Principal Second Violin for the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Ballet, and the Cleveland Opera. Ms. Harris-Lee then received a Professional Studies degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with Donald Weilerstein. Rebecca moved to NYC in 1994, where she began her freelance career, playing with many orchestras in the Tri- State area, including the Long Island Philharmonic, New Haven Symphony, and the Colonial and Westfield Symphonies in New Jersey. She now resides in Montclair, NJ, with her husband and three children, all of whom play musical instruments.
